Local trendster restaurant Chino Latino recently settled a lawsuit file on the behalf of latino employees by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) alleging mistreatment. The lawsuit alleged that latino workers were subjected to racial slurs, were given shorter breaks and more discipline, and that two workers were fired for organizing a meeting that took their complaints to management. Chino Latino agreed to pay $325,000 and take several steps to prevent further discrimination.No word on how crappy they treated the Chinese employees.
